Cindy Smith has served Pioneer since 1999 as VP Producer Services and is responsible for all aspects of gas marketing including gas sales and gas control for the company's controlled and client gas production. Ms. Smith is actively involved in gas accounting, regulatory, business development, and gas supply for Pioneer and it's client gas production. Ms. Smith brings to Pioneer a 23 year background in operations and marketing. Prior to joining Pioneer, Ms. Smith served as Manager of Gas Marketing for Costilla Energy, Inc. from 1998 to 1999. In addition to directing the gas marketing of 55,000 MMBtu's per day of spot and long term gas, Ms. Smith was responsible for initiating and developing procedures to create a fully functional gas marketing department. Ms. Smith served on the management team which reviewed gas marketing arrangements of properties being divested and additionally, provided pricing and contractual support to in-house engineers and potential purchasers of properties being divested. From 1994 to 1998, Ms. Smith served as Senior Marketing Representative for Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. and was responsible for well connects and marketing. |
